Assignment 1 requires students to choose a topic scenario to work on in relation to a strategic human resource management issue in an organisation. Students will need to research the chosen topic, understand the theory involved in the issue, contribute ideas towards possible solutions to the issue in a blog related to the topic, and write an essay based on your findings.Specifically, Assignment 1 involves the following:
1. Choose a topic for your assignment.
2. Research the theory and HR practice relating to the topic.
3. Contribute your ideas on the problem and potential solutions to a blog on the topic. This will consist of around words on the appropriate discussion board on the Cloud Deakin unit site.
4. Write an essay on the topic based on your understanding of the theory related to the topic and associated HR practices. The essay plus a minimum of 15 references from books and peer-reviewed journal articles.
5. Submit the essay and a compilation of your blogs as two separate documents on Cloud Deakin.
