  1. Select a change, preferably work related on a change, in the rewards and recognition program that you have experienced.  Reflect on this change:

a.Classify the type of change.
b.Describe how you positively responded to the change.
c.Explain the positive effect this change had on you.
d.Describe the resistance you had to the change.
2.Research the Alberta Human Rights Act to understand the protected grounds that you cannot discriminate in the workplace.  You will need to reference this Act in the References Page.

  1. Summarize fourprotected grounds in Alberta Human Rights Act.
  2. Explain twoadvantages from the perspective of a Human Resources Practitioner for implementing new reward and recognition best practices meeting the requirements of non-discrimination.
  3. As a Human Resources Practitioner, plan how you will integrate the two new reward and recognition practices into not-for-profit organization.
  4. Discuss how the human resources team will gain knowledge on this topic.
  5. Create a strategy of how to implement this change.  Reference specific sections of Alberta Human Rights of Albertathat will support the proposed change.
  6. Outline how you will present this change to senior management.  This presentation must include at least two of the following software applications; Word, Excel or Power point:
  7. Propose a timeline for implementation.
  8. Prepare a budget to implement the new practices on rewards and recognition.

iii. Identify the positive behaviours you will be observing in the employees to this change.

  1. Discuss how you will minimize the resistance to this change.
  2. Describe two metrics you will use to support the implementation of the new practices.

The assignment should be no more than ten pages in length.  Ensure that your reflective assignment is clearly and consistently referenced and that it is clear which section you are answering.

Your paper needs to follow APA standards.  Consult the APA power point presentation for details on spacing, font, format, referencing and pagination.  Your paper should have a clear title page which includes your name, my name, our course and this project’s name as well as the due date.  Your paper needs to be presented in a professional manner.
