Reflection and Action Plans
Part A:
Write a structured reflection on your personal responses to your results of the Kouzes & Posner Leadership Practice Inventory (LPI). You ar required to use a reflective model to analyse your results. When reflectingon your results, refer to the principles of Kouzes & Posner (2017), as well other leadership literature.
Part B:
Complete two (2) action plans for your own leadership development based on your reflection. Each action plan must:
• Identify one (1) Kouzes & Posner (2017) Leadership Practice
• Select one (1) Kouzes & Posner (2017) Leadership Behaviour (The Behaviour must be associated with the Practice)
• Identify and justify SMART goals
• Identify and describe strategies for learning and action through Experience, Example and Education
• Identify and explain appropriate and realistic sources and measures of support
It is essential that there is a clear relationship between your LPI reflection and your action plans.
You are to demonstrate an ability to synthesise investigation findings to present a clear and logical overview of the impact of leadership on individuals, teams and health services, including linking contemporary leadership theory and surrounding literature.
