Students will prepare a business case (2500 words) arguing for a selected domestic business organisation seeking to become an MNC and the strategies for doing so.The submission must include an Executive Summary not exceeding 300 words.
Criteria:
- Select a well-performing domestic firm that you deem a reasonable candidate to become a multinational corporation.
- Consider the political, social, economic and environmental issues involved and evaluate the advantages and disadvantages for the organisation
and its current stakeholders.
- Critically analyse political, social, economic and environmental issues and their implications for MNCs operating in different world regions.
- Communicate an in-depth understanding of the nature, development and impact of MNCs.
- Incorporate ethical and sustainability issues in strategy development and decision-making relevant to MNCs.
- Analyse and interpret the integrated and multidisciplinary nature of business and community relationships in local and global contexts.
