The aim of the Assessment #1 is to understand the application of an industry accepted methodology or standard to your case study, using your academic researching skills. The recommended steps to assemble the information for this assessment:
- 1- Identify an industry accepted sustainability model (principle, framework, standard or methodology) that is applicable to your case study. (i.e ISO standard, Sustainability framework, etc.) It must be from a recognized organisation or government.
- 2- Evaluate and critically review the literature on how the model applies to your case study (select journals on similar projects).
- 3- Evaluate and critically review the academic literature to identify gaps or possible improvements to the model or to its application on projects similar to your case study.
- 4- Support your critical review with at least 6 related academic journals or quality sources.
