Task back to top This assessment contains two parts: (a) Part 1 – Submit three original posts in the Discussion Board on the MGT210 Interact2 site. The three posts focus on your understanding of topics 1, 2 and 3. (b) Part 2 – Respond to one post made by your peers. You can choose any topic post made by your peers. Note that you will however submit the entire assessment for marking as one document through Turnitin. The aim of this assessment is for everyone to contribute to the learning of the group and to engage with others in the subject (peer-to-peer learning). Learning from the experiences of your peers adds a great depth to the subject experience, as students come with a range of experience and knowledge. Part 1: Three Original Posts (250 words each post x 3 posts = 750 words (+/- 10%) Discussion boards for each of the first three topics are created on the MGT210 Interact2 page (link can be found in the main menu on Interact2 site ‘Discussion boards’). Each discussion board contains a task specific to the MGT210 topic that is being covered in the discussion board. For each post you are expected to: 1) Use your workplace experience as an example that shows an aspect of OB theory being used in practice. However, if you lack any workplace experience, you can use another example such as a video, news article, journal article, podcast etc. 2) Explain how the example illustrates the relevant area of OB theory. You will be expected to reference the sources that you use based on the APA6 style of referencing. Part 2: One Response Post (250 words +/- 10%) For the response you are expected to: Identify a post of interest from any topic on the discussion board and comment on the post: Your response should address the theory and its application in the example provided. In order to demonstrate your collegiality to your peers, you are encouraged to provide comments on posts that have only a few or no other responses. You can agree or disagree with aspects of the other student’s views, but please do support your views using references, and please also be careful not to personally disparage the other student you are replying to. Note: again, you need to reference any sources that you use based on the APA6 style of referencing. You may choose to make all your posts and responses in the first couple of weeks, so you can focus on other tasks (this may require reading ahead), or you may like to make them on a weekly basis (many students find it can be very helpful to have a small task each week to keep them motivated and on track). Posting last minute is discouraged as this will limit and impede on the other students’ opportunity to read and respond to your posts.
