Current Management Issue Analyses (2 @ 15% = 30%) Students must find two current management issue related to sports, physical activity, therapeutic recreation, recreation or leisure that occurred within the past year (12 months). Each assignment must use a different event and they cannot be related (i.e., cannot use an event related to the Olympics for both assignments). Student will analyze this issue based on the points below: Describe the issue and the management concept it is related to (provide reasoning). You must choose a different issue and management topic for each of the assignments. Describe how the industry / organization / field is handling the issue (if applicable). Using your knowledge from the course, describe if the organization handled the situation well, how you would have handled the issue, and reasoning for your answer. Consider what the larger scale impact of the issue.Indicate what we can learn from this issue. Indicate the source of your information (have a reference list). This assignment can be submitted in multiple forms. Options include: a paper, a PowerPoint presentation, a Presi presentation, video format (upload to YouTube and send the link), infograph, etc. If you want to present in a format not listed here, please contact the instructor first for approval (creativity is encouraged). Maximum 5 pages in SRS 105 SPRING 2019 5 length for paper, 12 slides for presentation (excluding title page and reference list), or max 5-minute video. You can submit two different formats for each assignment (i.e., one PowerPoint and one video) or the same for both.
