Some of the discussion in the module so far has or will highlight how leaders of entrepreneurial companies or intrapreneurs understand and embrace change. Embracing change and being able to engage with a changing landscape is an enormous benefit for the companies they work for and with The key to their success is often being able to engage in creative and exciting dialogue which brings together the people with the ideas that could make the difference. Creating new teams can be challenging, some people do not thrive on change and the process needs to be handled with sensitivity. We want you all to engage in a discussion around change and to present your own vision for the way in which you think the future will develop. The aims of the task are: To encourage you to understand the role and value of entrepreneurial teams within a company. To see how you could develop a process through which innovative ideas can flourish. To experience trying to work entrepreneurially in remote teams in a larger organisational context To reflect on your own entrepreneurial behaviours and leadership potential We would like you to discuss as a group the potential changes which you think are going to take place in the next 30 years within the following sectors: · Group 1 – Health · Group 2 – Communications · Group 3 – Travel · Group 4 – Employment You should be able to organise yourselves as a group to explore some of the key technological, environmental, demographic and social changes which you feel will be most important in your sector. Use the fora below to facilitate your discussions. You should be able to utilise academic sources and theory as well as newspaper articles and your own knowledge. Each student should design an infographic poster on an A4 size piece of paper which they should submit by 28th June 2019 to demonstrate their own understanding of the future. Assessment is based partly upon your poster and partly on your contribution to the discussion. There are of course no “right answers” when considering the future. We are interested in you ability to lead and engage in an evidence based discussion rather than your actual conclusions.
