We will be discussing current issues, trends, and issues of importance to
hospitality practitioners and scholars. You will identify one critical issue. You will
complete a report of no more than 3 pages (typed and single-spaced). In your report, you
should include the following major points: (1) Description of the critical issue; (2)
Justification of the critical issue; (3) Implications to the hospitality industry or a
particular business sector (both pros and cons must be discussed); and (4) Reflections.
Finally, you should include five trade publications and five academic publications when
you prepare for this assignment. Your reference style should follow the APA format.
